Head of HSEQ Department – (1 Position)

This is a senior management role responsible for overseeing corporate safety and compliance systems in line with international standards.

Eligibility Criteria for LESCO Jobs 2025

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environment, or related fields
Additional certification in Safety Management Systems, such as NEBOSH, HICG, IOSH, NFPA, ISO will be preferred
Knowledge of Safety Regulations, SOP development & Occupational Health Systems is required

Experience

Minimum 20 years of professional experience
At least 7 years must be in HSEQ supervision or consultancy roles
Experience in public utilities or recognized organizations will be preferred

Age Limit

Maximum age up to 57 years at the closing date

Skills Required

Leadership and team management
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Ability to develop and implement HSEQ compliance policies
Strong command in international environmental & safety protocols

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Leading and managing Safety Management Systems (SMS) according to NEPRA & ISO standards
Ensuring workplace safety, preventive measures, and risk assessment
Monitoring Occupational Health and hygiene programs
Conducting audits, inspections, and technical safety evaluations
Ensuring compliance with environmental laws and operational safety rules
Promoting conservation, energy safety, optimization and sustainability practices
Coordinating with public regulatory bodies including NEPRA & MOE
Preparing internal safety documentation and performance reports

This is a high-impact leadership position within LESCO’s operational management.
